A new devised piece which blurs the boundaries between reality and the fiction of Alice’s Wonderland. The landscape of Carroll’s storytelling, creates an interesting base for the physical and experimental style of our company, embracing his nonsense, playfulness and rhythmical style.

We emphasized the role of identity within Carroll’s writing. Throughout the children’s story of Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland, Alice grows and shrinks and is confronted with creatures and events from her own life that are playfully represented through the exaggerated Lewis Carroll characters. We related this theme of identity with our own self and moments of growing and shrinking in our own lives to tell the story of different Alices.

Events from the author’s life were an inspiration to our dramaturgy.
